2 Samuel 13 (성경통독): In this chapter, we learn how Amnon was obsessed with his sister Tamar and eventually raped her. Later, Absalom ordered his servants to organize a banquet to set up a murder against his brother Amnon as an act of revenge for the death of his sister. After this incident, Absalom fled and went to Talmai son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. He was there three years. King David finally gave up trying to get back at Absalom. He had come to terms with Amnon’s death. So we can see how the house of David is on the verge of crumbling with family wars breaking out.
