1 Kings 17 (성경통독): In this chapter, we see the introduction of Elijah, who is faced with a situation when there is a total drought—not a drop of dew or rain . Elijah obeyed God - 1. He went and camped in the Kerith canyon on the other side of the Jordan. And sure enough, ravens brought him his meals, both breakfast and supper, and he drank from the brook. 2. He helped a widow and her son on two occasions: 1. Their jar of flour would not run out and the bottle of oil and 2 Her dead son came back alive. So we can see how God used Elijah as a tool of instrument.
