2 Kings 13 (성경통독): We can see how Jehoahaz of Israel and Jehoash of Israel lived an evil life in the eyes of God. Consequently, Israel was at war against Aram (Hazael, Ben-Hadad) all the time. But God was gracious and showed mercy to them. He stuck with them out of respect for his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He never gave up on them, never even considered discarding them, even to this day. So Jehoash went to war three times and defeated him (Ben-Hadad) each time, recapturing the cities of Israel.
