2 Chronicles 24 (성경통독): In this chapter, we can see the rise and fall of king Joash. Though he did well- by collecting tax from people and leaders that Moses the servant of God set in order to repair the Temple of God. But he also made terrible mistakes after the death of Jehoiada: 1. they deserted The Temple of God and took up with the cult of sex goddesses; 2. He murdered Jehoiada’s son - Zechariah. As a result, God used the Aramean armies to wipe out Joash’s large army—their as punishment for deserting God, the God of their ancestors.
