2 Chronicles 28 (성경통독): King Ahaz was a bad king in the eyes of the Lord. And deservedly as a consequence of all his wicked sins before the Lord (e.g. even casting metal figurines for worshiping the pagan Baal gods. He participated in the outlawed burning of incense in the Valley of Ben Hinnom and—incredibly!—indulged in the outrageous practice of “passing his sons through the fire), God punished him and Judah. Even worse, king Ahaz did not learn from these lessons and did not turn around to the Lord for repentance. Rather, he continued to be against God! He offered sacrifices to the gods of Damascus.... God in turn was very angry!
