Exodus 16:1-3
이스라엘 백성 온 회중은 엘림을 떠나 엘림과 시나이 산 사이에 있는 씬 광야에 이르렀다. 이집트를 떠난 지 한 달째 되는 보름날이었다. 이스라엘 백성의 온 회중은 이 광야에서 또 모세와 아론에게 투덜거렸다. "차라리 이집트 땅에서 야훼의 손에 맞아 죽느니만 못하다. 너희는 거기에서 고기 가마 곁에 앉아 빵을 배불리 먹던 우리를 이 광야로 데리고 나와 모조리 굶겨 죽일 작정이냐?"
Here we go again... complain and complain over and over again... This time it's due to shortage of food that causes the Israelites to grumble again... I feel that we (people) in general start to complain and grumble once a situation slips out of our hands so that we are no longer in a comfort zone to control our own lives. Exactly that's something God wants us to change. He wants us to rely on Him rather than ourselves even if there is some unexpected happening in our lives.
