James 2:20-26

주님의 크고 영화로운 날이 오기 전에, 해는 변해서 어두움이 되고, 달은 변해서 피가 될 것이다.그러나 주님의 이름을 부르는 사람은 구원을 얻을 것이다.' 이스라엘 동포 여러분, 이 말을 들으십시오. 여러분이 아시는 바와 같이, 나사렛 예수는 하나님께서 기적과 놀라운 일과 표징으로 여러분에게 증명해 보이신 분입니다. 하나님께서는 그를 통하여 여러분 가운데서 이 모든 일을 행하셨습니다. 이 예수께서 버림을 받으신 것은 하나님이 정하신 계획을 따라 미리 알고 계신 대로 된 일이지만, 여러분은 그를 무법자들의 손을 빌어서 십자가에 못박아 죽였습니다. 그러나 하나님께서는 그를 죽음의 고통에서 풀어서 살리셨습니다. 그가 죽음의 세력에 사로잡혀 있는 것은 있을 수 없는 일이기 때문입니다. 다윗이 그를 가리켜 말하기를 '나는 늘 내 앞에 계신 주님을 보았다. 나를 흔들리지 않게 하시려고, 주님께서 내 오른쪽에 계시기 때문이다.그러므로 내 마음은 기쁘고, 내 혀는 즐거워하였다. 내 육체도 소망 속에 살 것이다.The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' "Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.
This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. David said about him: " 'I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will live in hope,
