그러므로 여러분은 마음을 단단히 먹고 정신을 차려서, 예수 그리스도께서 나타나실 때에 여러분이 받을 은혜를 끝까지 바라고 있으십시오.
순종하는 자녀로서 여러분은 전에 모르고 좇았던 욕망을 따라 살지 말고, 여러분을 불러주신 그 거룩하신 분을 따라 모든 행실을 거룩하게 하십시오.성경에 기록하기를 "내가 거룩하니 너희도 거룩하여라" 하였습니다.Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."

be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.... 우리가 거룩한 삶을 살기 위해서는 두 주인을 섬길수 없음을 다시 확인 합니다. 우리는 그리스도께서 나타나실 때에 우리가 받을 은혜를 "끝까지" 순종하는 마음으로 바라고 있어야 합니다. Self-Control를 exercise해야 되며 주님을 향햔 희망을 늘 간직해야 됩니다. 아멘!
