Luke 8:40-48

예수께서 돌아오시니, 무리가 그를 환영하였다. 그들은 모두 예수를 기다리고 있었던 것이다.그 때에 야이로라는 사람이 왔다. 이 사람은 회당장이었다. 그가 예수의 발 앞에 엎드려서, 자기 집으로 가시자고 간청하였다. 그에게 열두 살쯤 된 외동딸이 있는데, 그 딸이 죽어가고 있었기 때문이다. 예수께서 야이로의 집으로 가시는데, 무리가 예수를 밀어댔다. 무리 가운데 열두 해 동안 혈루증으로 앓는 여자가 있었는데 [의사에게 재산을 모두 다 탕진했지만] 아무도 이 여자를 고쳐주지 못하였다. 이 여자가 뒤에서 다가와서는 예수의 옷술에 손을 대니, 곧 출혈이 그쳤다. 예수께서 물으셨다. "내게 손을 댄 사람이 누구냐?" 사람들이 모두 부인하는데, 베드로가 말하였다. "선생님, 무리가 선생님을 에워싸서 밀치고 있습니다."그러자 예수께서 말씀하셨다. "누군가가 내게 손을 댔다. 나는 내게서 능력이 빠져나간 것을 알고 있다." 그 여자는 더 이상 숨길 수 없음을 알고서, 떨면서 나아와 예수께 엎드려서, 그에게 손을 댄 이유와 또 곧 낫게 된 경위를 모든 백성 앞에 알렸다. 그러자 예수께서 그 여자에게 말씀하셨다. "딸아, 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였다. 평안히 가거라."Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him.Then a man named Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue, came and fell at Jesus' feet, pleading with him to come to his house because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying. As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. "Who touched me?" Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you."But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me." Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace."
