1 Timothy 6:1-2

종의 멍에를 메고 있는 사람은 자기 주인을 아주 존경할 분으로 여겨야 합니다. 그렇게 하여야, 하나님의 이름과 우리의 가르침에 욕이 돌아가지 않을 것입니다. 신도인 주인을 섬기는 종들은, 그 주인이 신도라고 해서 가볍게 여겨서는 안됩니다. 오히려, 주인을 더 잘 섬겨야 합니다. 왜냐하면, 이러한 섬김에서 이익을 얻는 이들이 동료 신도요, 사랑하는 사람이기 때문입니다. 그대는 이런 것들을 가르치고 권하십시오.All who are under the yoke of slavery should consider their masters worthy of full respect, so that God's name and our teaching may not be slandered. Those who have believing masters are not to show less respect for them because they are brothers. Instead, they are to serve them even better, because those who benefit from their service are believers, and dear to them. These are the things you are to teach and urge on them.
