큰 집에는 금그릇과 은그릇만 있는 것이 아니라, 나무그릇과 질그릇도 있어서, 어떤 것은 귀하게 쓰이고, 어떤 것은 천하게 쓰입니다.
그러므로 누구든지 이러한 것들로부터 자신을 깨끗하게 하면, 그는 주인이 온갖 좋은 일에 요긴하게 쓰는 성별된 귀한 그릇이 될 것입니다.
In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
