Mark 4:1-9

예수께서 다시 바닷가에서 가르치기 시작하셨다. 매우 큰 무리가 모여드니, 예수께서는 배에 오르셔서, 바다쪽에 앉으셨다. 무리는 모두 바닷가 뭍에 있었다. 예수께서 비유로 여러 가지를 가르치셨는데, 가르치시면서 그들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "잘 들어라. 씨를 뿌리는 사람이 씨를 뿌리러 나갔다. 그가 씨를 뿌리는데, 더러는 길가에 떨어지니, 새들이 와서 그것을 쪼아먹었다. 또 더러는 흙이 많지 않은 돌짝밭에 떨어지니, 흙이 깊지 않으므로 싹은 곧 나왔지만, 해가 뜨자 타버리고, 뿌리가 없어서 말라 버렸다. 또 더러는 가시덤불 속에 떨어지니, 가시덤불이 자라 그 기운을 막아 버려서, 열매를 맺지 못하였다. 그런데 더러는 좋은 땅에 떨어져서, 싹이 나고, 자라서, 열매를 맺었다. 그리하여 삼십 배, 육십 배, 백 배가 되었다." 예수께서 덧붙여서 말씀하셨다. "들을 귀가 있는 사람은 들어라." Again Jesus began to teach by the lake. The crowd that gathered around him was so large that he got into a boat and sat in it out on the lake, while all the people were along the shore at the water's edge. He taught them many things by parables, and in his teaching said: "Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times." Then Jesus said, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
