Mark 15:33-41

낮 열두 시가 되었을 때에, 어둠이 온 땅을 덮어서, 오후 세 시까지 계속되었다. 세 시에 예수께서 큰소리로 부르짖으셨다. "엘로이 엘로이 레마 사박다니?" 그것은 번역하면 "나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 나를 버리셨습니까?" 하는 뜻이다. 거기에 서 있는 사람들 가운데서 몇이, 이 말을 듣고서 말하였다. "보시오, 그가 엘리야를 부르고 있소."어떤 사람이 달려가서, 해면을 신 포도주에 푹 적셔서 갈대에 꿰어, 그에게 마시게 하며 말하였다. "어디 엘리야가 와서, 그를 내려 주나 두고 봅시다." 예수께서는 큰 소리를 지르시고서 숨지셨다. （그 때에 성전 휘장이 위에서 아래까지 두 폭으로 찢어졌다.） 예수를 마주 보고 서 있는 백부장이, 예수께서 이와 같이 숨을 거두시는 것을 보고서 말하였다. "참으로 이분은 하나님의 아들이셨다." 여자들도 멀찍이서 지켜 보고 있었는데, 그들 가운데는 막달라 출신 마리아도 있고 작은 야고보와 요세의 어머니 마리아도 있고 살로메도 있었다.이들은 예수가 갈릴리에 계실 때에, 예수를 따라다니며 섬기던 여자들이었다. 그 밖에도 예수와 함께 예루살렘에 올라온 여자들이 많이 있었다.At the sixth hour darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"--which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" When some of those standing near heard this, they said, "Listen, he's calling Elijah."One man ran, filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a stick, and offered it to Jesus to drink. "Now leave him alone. Let's see if Elijah comes to take him down," he said. With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last. The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God!" Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome.In Galilee these women had followed him and cared for his needs. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there.
