Revelation 1:17-20

그를 뵐 때에, 내가 그의 발 앞에 엎어져서 죽은 사람과 같이 되니, 그가 내게 오른손을 얹고 말씀하셨습니다. "두려워하지 말아라. 나는 처음이며 마지막이요, 살아 있는 자다. 나는 한 번은 죽었으나, 보아라, 영원무궁 하도록 살아 있어서, 사망과 지옥의 열쇠를 가지고 있다. 그러므로 너는, 네가 본 것과 지금의 일들과 이 다음에 일어날 일들을 기록하여라. 네가 본 내 오른손의 일곱 별과 일곱 금 촛대의 비밀은 이러하다. 일곱 별은 일곱 교회의 심부름꾼이요, 일곱 촛대는 일곱 교회다."When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. "Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
