Revelation 17:15-18

천사가 또 나에게 말하였습니다. "네가 본 물 곧 그 창녀가 앉아 있는 물은, 백성들과 무리들과 민족들과 언어들이다.그리고 네가 본 그 열 뿔과 그 짐승은, 그 창녀를 미워해서 비참하게 만들고, 벌거벗은 꼴로 만들 것이다. 그들은 그 창녀의 살을 삼키고, 그 여자를 불에 태울 것이다. 그것은, 하나님께서 당신의 말씀을 이루실 때까지, 당신의 뜻을 행하려는 마음을 그들에게 주셔서, 그들이 한 마음이 되어 그들의 나라를 그 짐승에게 주게 하셨기 때문이다. 네가 본 그 여자는, 세상의 임금들을 다스리는 통치권을 가진 큰 도시를 가리킨다."Then the angel said to me, "The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to give the beast their power to rule, until God's words are fulfilled. The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth."
