Revelation 18:1-3

그 뒤에 나는 다른 천사가 큰 권세를 가지고 하늘에서 내려오는 것을 보았습니다. 땅은 그의 영광으로 환해졌습니다. 그는 힘찬 소리로 외쳤습니다. "무너졌다. 무너졌다. 큰 도시 바빌론이 무너졌다. 바빌론은 귀신들의 거처가 되고, 온갖 더러운 영의 소굴이 되고, [더럽고 가증한 온갖 새들의 집이 되었구나!] 이는, 모든 민족이 그 도시의 음행에서 빚어진 분노의 포도주를 마시고, 세상의 왕들이 그 도시와 더불어 음행하고, 세상의 상인들이 그 도시의 사치 바람에 치부하였기 때문이다."After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. With a mighty voice he shouted: "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird. For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries."
