비천한 신도는 자기가 높아지게 된 것을 자랑하십시오.
부자는 자기가 낮아지게 된 것을 자랑하십시오. 부자는 풀의 꽃과 같이 사라질 것이기 때문입니다.해가 떠서 뜨거운 열을 뿜으면, 풀은 마르고 꽃은 떨어져서, 그 아름다운 모습은 사라집니다. 이와 같이, 부자도 자기 일에 골몰하는 동안에 시들어 버립니다.The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position.
But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower.For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business.

Bottom line is that we should not be deceived by any of these since they will wither and pass away eventually. "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights rather than from below." 우리는 더 많은 것을 소유하고 소비하여 높아지려고 하기 보다는 하나님 안에서 진정한 성공과 자랑거리를 찾기 위해 노력을 해야 됩니다. This can only be done as we truly rely and believe in the word of truth which God pours out onto us every day. We should be receptive and open-hearted so that God can work with and within us to change us and shape us according to His will and desire. Amen!
