James 5:18-20

Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.... This verse still is in my heart. Indeed, we cannot bring back someone who wanders from the truth by our own force and will. Rather, this miraculous transformation can only happen through the power of prayer. Our prayers have to be continuous, meaning that we have to keep praying daily and every moment of our lives. That's our calling and our breath as Christians. Even Elijah had to pray "again" for God to continuously work in his life as we can see. For example, he prayed earnestly that it would not rain and then prayed again that it would rain.Amen!
