1 John 3:21-24
사랑하는 여러분, 우리가 마음에 가책을 받지 않으면, 우리는 하나님 앞에서 담대함을 가지고 있는 것이요,
우리가 구하는 것은 무엇이든지 하나님에게서 받을 것입니다. 우리가 하나님의 계명을 지키고, 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 일을 하기 때문입니다.
하나님의 계명은 이것이니, 곧 그 아들 예수 그리스도의 이름을 믿고, 그리스도께서 우리에게 명하신 대로 서로 사랑하라는 것입니다.
그리스도의 계명을 지키는 사람은 그리스도 안에 있고, 그리스도께서도 그 사람 안에 계십니다. 그리스도께서 우리 안에 계시다는 것을, 그가 우리에게 주신 성령으로 우리는 압니다.Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God
and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.
And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

If we obey His commands we live in Him, and He in us. If Christ lives in us and as the Holy Spirit continuously interferes within us and helps us to know Him more, we will have the confidence before God and seek the things that would please Him. If Christ lives within us, the evidence will be His love that we should practice among each other. If the true love of Christ exists within us, then we will only seek things that would lift Him up rather than to seek things of this world and selfish nature. Amen!
