This chapter let's me thinking about how fragile the human nature is. Even though we say a lots of things, but many times we fail to convert our commitments/promises into action. Peter's bold statement - "I will lay down my life for You" was stated spontaneously and he truly had a lots of heart for the Lord. But he eventually failed to carry out his commitment. On the other, I wonder what Judas was really thinking when he decided to betray Jesus. Did He think that Jesus would free Himself and show His worldly glory? Or was he just blinded by material possessions? Or was he just growing tired of following Jesus since his outward life was not changing? Many questions to ask ourselves....
