2 Corinthians 5: For Christ’s love compels us.... those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. We can live in Christ as we rely on the compelling love of Jesus Christ in our lives.
2 Corinthians 6: The List of Paul's hardships shows what kind of life he and his fellow apostles have lived through. Though from a worldly perspective, Paul's life might appear to be nothing and empty, yet he is not ashamed of it. Rather he seems to rejoice that he gave up all he had for God in exchange for the greater glory in heaven.
2 Corinthians 7: let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.... As we draw near to Him and seek His forgiveness because we revere Him so much and because Godly sorrow convicts our hearts, God changes us and helps us to live a more holy life.
