Jeremiah 26: We can see how boldly Jeremiah steps up to the people in the name of God. We can see that the spirit of God protects him preventing the mob from lynching him. It's astounding how Jeremiah takes courage and steps up boldly in His name to represent Him as His messenger to warn the people.
Jeremiah 27: "Here and now I give all these lands over to my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. I have made even the wild animals subject to him." So we can see how God temporarily enables Nebuchadnezzar to come to power and lets him rule over His rebellious and disobedient people of Israel and Judah. It's not that God has lost power and control over His people. But I feel that God is frustrated and dishearted by the fact that His people refuse to listen and obey Him.
