Hosea 9: God cannot find anything positive among the nations. Finding any fruit there is " like finding grapes out in the desert." In other words, it's very difficult for God to work for and through them since they are not willing to cooperate.
Hosea 10: The worship of false hand-made gods has become a disgrace to the people. However, their pleasure and self-claimed victory will be short lived.
