2 Kings 10 (성경통독): In this chapter, we can see the king of Israel Jehu taking action against the family of Ahab and Ahaziah by mercilessly slaughtering them. Furthermore, Jehu joined hands with Jehonadab the Recabite to destroy all the worshipers of Baal. As a result, God commended Jehu: “You did well to do what I saw was best. You did what I ordered against the family of Ahab. As reward, your sons will occupy the throne of Israel for four generations.” But in turn, one could ask if these bloody massacres caused by Jehu really pleased the Lord since so many lives were lost.
