1 Chronicles 10 (성경통독): It's interesting how this chapter takes us back to 1 Samuel 31 talking about the death of king Saul and his sons while the first 9 chapters talked about the family of trees of notable people in Israel/Judah and signaled the return from exile. The chapter reiterates the fact that Saul died in disobedience, disobedient to God. He didn’t obey God’s words. Instead of praying, he went to a witch to seek guidance. Because he didn’t go to God for help, God took his life and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.
