2 Kings 24 (성경통독): In this chapter, we learn about how Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon invaded both Jerusalem and Judah. Jehoiakim, Jehoiachin and Zedekiah were the rulers of Judah back then. They revolted against the king of Babylon but God let him take the people into exile. The source of all this doom to Jerusalem and Judah was God’s anger—God turned his back on them as an act of judgment. Interestingly, all these mentioned kings of Judah were evil kings in the sight of God, picking up on the evil ways of his ancestors.
