주께서 말씀하셨다."너는 첫째 달 초하루에, 성막 곧 회막을 세워라.그리고 거기에 증거궤를 들여놓고, 휘장을 쳐서, 그 궤를 가려라. 또 너는 상을 가져다가 격식대로 차려 놓고, 등잔대를 가져다가 그 위에 등잔불을 올려놓아라.또 금 분향단을 증거궤 앞에 놓고, 성막 어귀에 휘장을 달아라. # 번제단은 성막, 곧 회막 어귀 앞에 가져다 놓아라.회막과 제단 사이에는 물두멍을 놓고, 거기에 물을 채워라.
# 회막 주위로 울타리를 만들고, 거기에 휘장을 치고, 동쪽 울타리에다 낸 정문에는 막을 드리워라.

There are a lots of instructions to be followed to set up the Tabernacle for the Lord. Though one could argue it's needless and redundant to have so many single furnishings around it, the Lord still commands Moses and Israelites to follow His lead. As His creations, all we can do is to follow and obey Him wholeheartedly wherever He may lead us.
