Luke 5:1-11

예수께서 게네사렛 호숫가에 서 계셨다. 그 때에 무리가 예수께 밀려와 하나님의 말씀을 들었다. 예수께서 보시니, 배 두 척이 호숫가에 대어 있고, 어부들은 배에서 내려서, 그물을 씻고 있었다. 예수께서 그 배 가운데 하나인 시몬의 배에 올라서, 그에게 배를 뭍에서 조금 떼어 놓으라고 하신 다음에, 배에 앉으시어 무리를 가르치셨다. 예수께서 말씀을 그치시고, 시몬에게 말씀하셨다. "깊은 데로 나가, 그물을 내려서, 고기를 잡아라." 시몬이 대답하였다. "두려워하지 말아라. 이제부터 너는 사람을 낚을 것이다."그들은 배를 뭍에 댄 뒤에, 모든 것을 버려 두고 예수를 따라갔다.One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret,with the people crowding around him and listening to the word of God, he saw at the water's edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch." Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!" For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon's partners. Then Jesus said to Simon, "Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men."
