Mark 11:12-17

이튿날 그들이 베다니를 떠나갈 때에, 예수께서는 시장하셨다. 멀리서 잎이 무성한 무화과나무를 보시고, 혹시 그 나무에 열매가 있을까 하여 가까이 가서 보셨는데, 잎사귀 밖에는 아무것도 없었다. 무화과의 철이 아니었기 때문이다. 예수께서 그 나무에게 말씀하셨다. "이제부터 영원히, 네게서 열매를 따먹을 사람이 없을 것이다." 제자들이 예수께서 말씀하시는 것을 들었다. 그리고 그들은 예루살렘에 들어갔다. 예수께서 성전에 들어가셔서, 성전 뜰에서 팔고 사고 하는 사람들을 내쫓으시면서 돈을 바꾸어 주는 사람들의 상과 비둘기를 파는 사람들의 의자를 둘러엎으시고,성전 뜰을 가로질러 물건을 나르는 것을 금하셨다. 예수께서는 가르치시면서, 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "기록한 바 '내 집은 만민이 기도하는 집이라고 불릴 것이다' 하지 않았느냐? 그런데 너희는 그 곳을 '강도들의 소굴'로 만들어 버렸다."The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard him say it. On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple area and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves,and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. And as he taught them, he said, "Is it not written: " 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it 'a den of robbers.'"
