James 4:1-6

1.무엇 때문에 여러분 가운데 싸움이나 분쟁이 일어납니까? 여러분의 지체들 안에서 싸우고 있는 육신의 욕심에서 생기는 것이 아닙니까? 2.여러분은 욕심을 부려도 얻지 못하면 살인을 하고, 탐내어도 가지지 못하면 다투고 싸웁니다. 여러분이 얻지 못하는 것은 구하지 않기 때문이요, 3.구하여도 얻지 못하는 것은 자기가 쾌락을 누리는 데에 쓰려고 잘못 구하기 때문입니다. 4.간음하는 사람들이여, 세상과 벗함이 하나님과 등지는 일임을 알지 못합니까? 누구든지 세상의 친구가 되려고 하는 사람은 하나님의 원수가 되는 것입니다. 5."하나님께서는 우리 안에 살게 하신 그 영을 질투하실 정도로 그리워하신다"라는 성경 말씀을 여러분은 헛된 것으로 생각합니까? 그러나 하나님께서는 더 큰 은혜를 주십니다. 그러므로 성경에 이르기를 "하나님께서는 교만한 자들을 물리치시고, 겸손한 사람들에게 은혜를 주신다" 하고 말합니다.1.What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you? 2.You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. 3.When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. 4.You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. 5.Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he caused to live in us envies intensely? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."
