Jude 1:5-7

여러분이 이미 다 알겠지만, 내가 다시 여러분의 기억을 일깨워 드리려는 것은 이것입니다. 주님께서는 백성을 이집트에서 한 번에 구원해 내시고서, 그 다음에는 믿지 않는 자들을 멸하셨습니다.또 그는 자기들의 통치 영역에 머물지 않고 그 거처를 떠난 천사들을 그 큰 날의 심판에 붙이시려고, 영원한 사슬로 매어서 어둠에 가두어 두셨습니다. 그리고 소돔과 고모라와 그 주위의 성들도 그들과 마찬가지로 음란함에 빠져서 딴 육체를 좇았기 때문에 영원한 불의 형벌을 받아 사람들에게 본보기가 되었습니다.Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home--these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
