1 Timothy 1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life.
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

It's really hard to realize (as Paul did) that I am the worst of sinners but that Jesus Christ displays his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. Sometimes, it's hard to see and realize the sins we commit and we only think of those sinful acts that are visible in our eyes only. But I realize that the Spiritual world is deep and there are more "invisible" acts of sins which we commit on a daily basis that we could hardly imagine. However, Paul seems to have been able to see his sinful life through the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ. Therefore, he could confess that he himself is the "the worst of sinners." I pray that the Holy Spirit works within me so that he can help me to see and visualize the visible and invisible sinful acts that I commit every day and confess them to receive healing and forgiveness.
