Acts 1:

We can finally see the disciples believing and stepping up in the name of the Lord with courage, faith and audacity to carry out Jesus's following commission for us: ..."but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." Disciples don't get built up and created in one day. Rather, it takes faithfulness and training to be built up. And I pray that God will also continuously work within me. Amen!

Acts 2:

"Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart." This is how the church is supposed to be - where people come together with one mind to worship the Lord and serve one another with gladness and sincerity of heart.

Acts 3:

"Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you." The core message still stands as John the Baptist proclaimed before the arrival of Jesus. It reminds us that true repentance - completely turning around from one's sins is needed for us to experience the presence of the Lord (grace) in our every day life.
