Acts 10:

It's a very important moments in the history of God's salvation of mankind. For through this moment, the gospel has been opened up not only to Jews but also to the Gentiles. It's just a little surprising that Peter instead of Paul (who later became God's ambassador for the Gentiles) carries out the role of ambassador in this scene.

Acts 11:

We can see the works of the Holy Spirit in the lives of people here. Not only did these people receive the gospel, but these Christians were determined to send a contribution for the relief of the brethren living in Judea. I think these are the works of Christ in our lives. He will move us and compel us to spread out and distribute our resources to share with others as an act of love and caring.
