2 Corinthians 11: What are the things that I keep boasting about? If I am a true disciple, then my boasting should be about my sufferings for Christ and no other prideful matter of this world.

2 Corinthians 12: Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.... In order to have such faith, we need to be willing to empty ourselves so that Christ can dwell in us. And if we truly want Christ to dwell in us, we need to pursue holiness and seek His forgiveness of our daily sins.

2 Corinthians 13: Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you...Just because Christ was crucified in weakness does not mean that He is weak. But He is not weak in dealing with us but is powerful among us. This is the Christ we believe in and we should pray for faith which we bestow upon us as we sincerely seek to know Him more.
