Philippians 2: in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others...So true humility can only be practiced if we truly care and concern for others' well-being. For example, if we have a friend suffering from difficulties and show genuine care and interest to get him feel better, that's a form of humility as I understand.
Philippians 3: What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. So truly knowing Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior should change our perspectives and values in our lives. His Lordship in our lives will help us to overcome the hurdles and traps of this world.
Philippians 4: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. I believe that a joy and happiness should be the trademark and symbol of all God's children. Regardless of whether being rich or poor (materialistically), we should learn to be more content with what God has provided us.
