Jeremiah 10: Am I stick-god worshiper myself who is impressed by the glamour and glitz of the earthly hand-made objects? I pray that I am not.I pray that I will recognize our God almighty and acknowledge Him as my true living Lord and Savior in my daily life.
Jeremiah 11: "Indeed, I’m not going to listen to a single syllable of their crisis-prayers.” While we reach out to God with our crisis-prayers, we also anger God with our continuous worship and offerings to useless hand-shaped gods like Baal. So this double-mindedness and love for useless gods can really hamper our relationship with God.
Jeremiah 12: "if they will get serious about living my way and pray to me as well as they taught my people to pray to that god Baal"....how serious are we about living His way and pray to Him in the way that we approach important daily tasks/chores? I pray that God will restore seriousness and sincerity of our hearts and He will give me a right heart of worship that's set only for Him. Amen!
