Jeremiah 16: What is the meaning of His name, God - "I AM"? It means that He is self-existing and not manufactured mortal, "obscene no-god leaving piles of stinking god-junk all over the place.” We should ask if we really have the needed reverence and fear for Him in our daily lives.
Jeremiah 17: God, please search and examine my mind and heart. Please treat me as I really am, not as I pretend to be. God, you are the potter and I am the clay. Please mold me and shape me and further refine me. Amen!
Jeremiah 18: "But my people have left me to worship the Big Lie." How often do we turn away from the Lord and become a slut to worship & follow the Big Lie? I pray that we won't practice dualism - the act of serving two masters in our lives.
