Daniel 6: The important conclusion we can draw from this scene is that it is God who shall be worshiped and feared in all parts of King Darius' kingdom. Daniel was shrewd, brimming with spirit and intelligence, but he was merely a tool of God's instruments who was bestowed with the necessary wisdom, skill sets and guidance by Him.
Daniel 7: The Vision of Four Animals must have served as a shock incident to Daniel. We can see how God used him to show the changes that the kingdoms would go through.
