1 Peter 3:"Jesus has the last word on everything and everyone, from angels to armies. He’s standing right alongside God, and what he says goes." So we should follow the lead of our true spiritual commander in chief and keep in mind that he is the final and ultimate gate that we have to pass through.
"Be agreeable, be sympathetic, be loving, be compassionate, be humble. That goes for all of you, no exceptions. No retaliation. No sharp-tongued sarcasm. Instead, bless—that’s your job, to bless." It requires wisdom of God to display these characteristics when we deal with others. Oftentimes, we are too focused of trying to impose our thoughts and will in a sharp way over others without thinking it could hurt them.

1 Peter 4: The word reminds us to put behind our "God-ignorant way of life" but to listen to the Message and to stay wide awake in prayer. "Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it." So practicing love is not an option but an absolute necessity that we need practice and experience.
