1 Peter 1: Very true that we should remember: "our new birth comes from God’s living Word.... God’s Word goes on and on forever...This is the Word that conceived the new life in you." Keeping this in mind, we should remember that our life is "a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God" and we should let "ourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness."
1 Peter 2: It will be our lifetime assignment to think about we can grow up mature and whole in God. As the chapter reminds us, we should not get used to feel so cozy about our lives on this earth and should long for the healing of our souls and wounds by the good Shepherd.
