2 Kings 22 (성경통독): Josiah of Judah is being introduced here and he lived the way God wanted. He kept straight on the path blazed by his ancestor David, not one step to either left or right. During his kingship, the high priest Hilkiah reported to Shaphan the royal secretary that he found the Book of God's Revelation, instructing them in God's ways in the temple. When the king heard what was written in the book, God’s Revelation (God's doom of judgment), he ripped his robes in dismay. But because Josiah took seriously the doom of judgment God spoke against this place and people, and because he responded in humble repentance, tearing his robe in dismay and weeping before God, He was taking him seriously. God’s word toward Josiah: "I’ll take care of you."
