Luke 1:39-45

그 무렵에, 마리아가 일어나, 서둘러 유대 산골에 있는 한 동네로 가서, 사가랴의 집에 들어가, 엘리사벳에게 문안하였다.엘리사벳이 마리아의 인사말을 들었을 때에, 아이가 그의 뱃속에서 뛰놀았다. 엘리사벳이 성령으로 충만해서, 큰 소리로 외쳐 말하였다. "그대는 여자들 가운데서 복을 받았고, 그대의 태중의 아이도 복을 받았습니다. 내 주님의 어머니께서 내게 오시다니, 이것이 어찌된 일입니까? 보십시오. 그대의 인사말이 내 귀에 들어왔을 때에, 내 태중의 아이가 기뻐서 뛰놀았습니다. 주님께서 하신 말씀이 이루어질 줄 믿은 여자는 행복합니다."At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, where she entered Zechariah's home and greeted Elizabeth.When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. In a loud voice she exclaimed: "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!"
