1 Timothy 1:12-14

나는 나에게 능력을 주신 우리 주 그리스도 예수께 감사를 드립니다. 주님께서 나를 신실하게 여기셔서, 나에게 이 직분을 맡겨 주셨습니다. 내가 전에는 훼방자요 박해자요 폭행자였습니다. 그러나 그러한 행동은 내가 믿지 않을 때에 알지 못하고 한 것이므로, 하나님께서 나에게 자비를 베풀어 주셨습니다. 우리 주님께서 나에게 은혜를 넘치게 부어 주셔서, 그리스도 예수 안에서 얻는 믿음과 사랑을 누리게 하셨습니다.I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
