Titus 3:4-8

그러나 우리의 구주이신 하나님께서 그 인자하심과 사랑하심을 나타내셔서 우리를 구원하셨습니다. 그분이 그렇게 하신 것은, 우리가 행한 의로운 일 때문이 아니라, 그분의 자비하심을 따라 거듭나게 씻어주심과 성령으로 새롭게 해 주심으로 말미암은 것입니다.하나님께서는 이 성령을 우리의 구주이신 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리에게 풍성하게 부어 주셨습니다. 그래서 우리는 그분의 은혜로 의롭게 되어서, 영원한 생명의 소망을 따라 상속자가 되었습니다. 이 말은 참됩니다. 나는 그대가, 이러한 것을 힘있게 주장해서, 하나님을 믿는 사람으로 하여금 선한 일에 전념하게 하기 바랍니다. 선한 일은 아름다우며, 사람에게 유익합니다.But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
