Acts 23:
"Take courage; for as you have solemnly witnessed to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must witness at Rome also." For this sole reason, Paul wanted to stay alive and he had no other ambition. For Paul, being used as a tool of instrument for God was the greatest honor and glory as we can see.

Acts 24:
The fact is that people were afraid to put any harm on Paul because 1.) he was Roman citizen who has been faithful and obeying the law all his life; 2.) all that Paul said was not untrue and people could not find any grounds of accusation against him.

Acts 25:
bringing many and serious charges against him which they could not prove...but they simply had some points of disagreement with him about their own religion and about a dead man.
Jesus, whom Paul asserted to be alive.... To many, this certain "dead man" just died and disappeared from history. But to the believers, this Jesus is resurrected and has become the true hope and reason for life. Amen!
