Acts 7:
I pray that we will also have the strength and courage to stand up like Stephen did to become witnesses of Jesus Christ amidst any hostility and opposition there may be.
Acts 8:
We can see how God works in peoples' lives and how He transform them into powerful tools of instrument for Him and His kingdom, as in the case of Philip. I believe that it's because Philip's heart was right before God, fully centered on God.
Acts 9:
At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God. There are really two parts to believing - 1.) to see/encounter the Lord and and to converse with Him 2.) to speak boldly and fearlessly in the name of Jesus. We should closely examine our lives to see if these elements exist within us.
