1 Timothy 4:... That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people. IF we have truly set our hope in the living God and NOT in earthly things, then we will not lose our focus on Him and not complain about the labor and strive.

1 Timothy 5: In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden forever... Regardless of whether good or bad deeds, they cannot be hidden forever. We should be transparent before God and not hide anything from Him.

1 Timothy 6: But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness....so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.... So Paul warns Timothy about the false teachers and love of money and tell him to flee from all these temptations. Instead Paul urges Timothy to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness, which is truly life.
