2 Timothy 4: to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear...and the itching ears want to hear NOT the truth but myths and easy ways out to avoid hardships of evangelists. But the Bible tells us to " keep our head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge (fulfill) all the duties of our ministry.
Titus 1: In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. So if we truly claim to know God, our actions have to show they fittingly serve to please Him. If our actions are detestable, disobedient and unfit, it means that we don't truly know God.
Titus 2: For the grace of God teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age. Moreover, the grace of God teaches us to wait patiently for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. So patience and endurance seem to be very important components in Christians' lives.
Titus 3: ...so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. So this truth (having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life) is reliable and we should keep this in mind as we devote ourselves to doing what is good. In fact, our motivation to doing what is good should not be based on earthly glory or honor, but rather be based on the truth, as being heirs having the hope of eternal life in Christ.
