Ezekiel 19: I believe the story of the two lions reminds us of the rise and fall of Israel's leaders, who enjoyed their days of glory but kept on sinning and separating themselves from the Lord, which eventually led to their downfall and destruction at the hands of the Babylonians.
Ezekiel 20: So the sinful practices of the Israelite were as follows: "1. they perversely sacrificed their firstborn children in the fire; and 2. every time they saw a hill with a sex-and-religion shrine on it or a grove of trees where the sacred whores practiced, they were there, buying into the whole pagan system." But God warns them and tells His people to “Get rid of all the vile things that they’ve become addicted to." What are the things that we have to get rid of cleanse ourselves and to properly stand before God as His people?
Ezekiel 21: The sword of the Lord is relentless, inescapable, murderous and sharp-edged to those indulge themselves in vile sinful practices.
